A suddenly emerging bear eats 140 kilograms of apple in a plantation

On the morning of November 4th 2020, a bear suddenly showed up in an apple plantation in Yamagata-ken, Japan.

According to livedoor news, the apple plantation in Yamagata-ken had fruitful apples just before harvest.

After the ‘bear strike’, the field was full of bitten apples on the ground.

The owner lamented, “This is definitely a bear’s fault. Humans don’t eat like this.”

The 140 kilograms worth of apples was estimated to be fruited on 2 trees.

A bear was spotted nearby near an elementary school soon after.

Scary news of bear strikes can be heard, so we better watch out.
Too bad for the plantation owner’s loss, but at least he wasn’t physically damaged.
