100% Honeycore apple is found … !
Perhaps some of you have experienced eating apples with honeycore.
They are sweet and juicy at the center.
But, I bet none of you have ever seen or tasted a 100% honeycore apple.
Here is a picture from twitter by Barter@Barte_dj_fav:

According to his informative tweets,:
・ What is the breed?
This is a Fuji Apple. His farm cultivates them without bags.
This results in the coloring tends to be uneven, but tastier
・ Is it really sweet?
Not really. It tastes like a boiled apple that didn’t have enough sugar.
・ What is an apple honeycore?
Plants photosynthesize in the leaves (not sweet at this point) and the products change to fructose after moving to the fruit, but when the amount of this fructose exceeds the permissible amount of the fruit cell, it will squeeze out of the cell as nectar. This is the honeycore.
However, in other words, it is not sweet.
・ Is this for sale?
It’s probably impossible to be for sale.
Apples containing honeycores tend to be spoil easier and faster.
Therefore, with 100% honeycore, they will spoil in days.
Therefore, they cannot be shipped and sold at normal markets.
