According to Tochigi Prefecture, the wildfire that broke out in Nishinomiya-cho, Ashikaga City on the 21st of this month was spreading for 3 days now. Fire extinguishing activities continue even after sunset.




According to Ashikaga City, as of 5:30 pm on the 24th, about 76.5 hectares of forest have been burnt and continue burning.





Ashikaga City has issued evacuation advisories to a total of 177 households in the city so far, saying that there is a risk of fire spreading to residential areas.



In addition, there are three evacuation centers in the city, and as of 7:00 pm on the 24th, a total of 37 people from 21 households have been evacuated.



According to the city, no one was injured by the fire and no spread of fire to buildings was confirmed, but there is no prospect of extinguishing the fire so far.
