Canada is 49.5 ℃ degrees outside, and 134 people are reported to have died … !!

Canadian broadcaster on CTV reported on June 29th 2021 that a total of 134 sudden deaths were reported to police in western Vancouver and its suburbs from the 25th.
Most are elderly and due to the heat waves that have hit western Canada since last weekend.



In Litton, British Columbia, where Vancouver is located, the country’s highest temperature ever hit was updated everyday, with temperatures of 49.5 degrees Celsius, close to 50 degrees Celsius, observed on the 29th.
The heat wave is expected to continue until early July.



Sixty-five people have died in Vancouver since the 25th, and many have died in two nearby cities, including Burnaby. “It’s a situation I’ve never seen,” said a Vancouver police official.
