A suddenly emerging bear eats 140 kilograms of apple in a plantation
On the morning of November 4th 2020, a bear suddenly showed up in an apple plantation in Yamagata-ken, Japan. According to livedoor news, the apple plantation in Yamagata-ken had fruitful apples just before harvest. After the ‘bear strike’, the field was full of bitten apples on the ground. The owner lamented, “This is definitely a bear’s fault. Humans don’t eat like this.” The 140 kilograms worth of apples was estimated to be fruited on 2 trees.
