In July 2020, a 64-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dealing damage to unpurchased property at a supermarket in Kushiro City for puncturing 13 Yubari melons displayed at the sales floor with her fingers. Accrding to hbc news, an unemployed woman (64) from Otanoshikeminami, Kushiro City was arrested.
